This song is about a time when I was in 8th grade. It was Christmas break and I was with my dad, my step mom, and my little brother out in LA where we went to Disneyland and then to my uncle's wedding in downtown LA. It was the time of my life! It was intensely fun! As a matter fact, it was such a damn good time that it was the only major highlight of my 8th grade year. Why? Because 8th grade was most definitely the worst year of my life! It was so bad that year and 7th grade that I call it the Ellicaust (because I lived in Elgin and went to Ellis Middle School). Literally the only thing I ever had to be truly excited about during that cold 2 year era was this occasion. If I'm gonna go through 2 years of this so called middle school getting bullied, getting told constantly that I suck at everything, having fake friends that back stab me, getting jumped, getting taken advantage of, being treated like a bitch, girls acting like they wanna date me when really they don't, etc... then the least I can have is the time of my life so I can put this bullshit on hiatus and fill in that time with some hella fun! Thus this song was born! Since I wanted it to be about the one time during this cold era that was actually positive, I used no profanity in this song. So parents, perfect for your kids!
