Do you want to know something that really drives me crazy? Popularity competitions in high school.... I honestly think they are the most bogus thing ever! It really gets on my nerves how high school kids take advantage of all these opportunities in high school such as football, cheerleading, basketball, etc. JUST to be a hotshot and the center of attention in their schools. Now let's not get this twisted. I'm not saying any of this because I'm jealous of these so called "popular kids." I'm saying it's not fair that certain kids get to be in the spotlight gaining all the attention and recognition there is for them to receive while everyone else is just a ghost in the shadows. That's pretty messed up. With that being said, I throw a party in this song of which everyone is invited to regardless of their popularity. The only two rules at this party are to be yourself at all costs, and there is a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for king of the hill games if you know what I mean. If you think about it, that is what these popularity competitions are... just some stupid and childish games of king of the hill... We ain't bout that life!
