This was the very first song I've ever written and recorded. I thought day and night about what the concept should be for my debut rap album. I had to keep listening and listening to rappers like Eminem, Tupac, N.W.A., 50 Cent, Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park, and B.O.B. to get my inspiration. It took me months to make my decision and once I made the decision of making my debut album about how I came from growing up in a family of abusive parents living on the gritty streets of Elgin going to ghetto predominately hispanic/black schools as the troubled white autistic kid who was bullied from 3rd grade all the way till 11th grade then to living in St. Charles going to a predominately white school which was way nicer and couldn't have started out any better. That was until things went down like struggling in school, struggling in sports, drama with girls that escalated A LOT, being hospitalized in Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System for wanting to end my life, and eventually struggling to fit in with peers especially after starting to pursue a rap career. Next thing you know, I was bullied at North to the point of leaving that school and going to Summit Academy. After that and once my mom finally opened her eyes and saw that my step dad is the real abusive one and it was beyond time to move away from that asshole, we lived happily ever after at our new crib in St. Charles with my two little siblings. Things were WAYYYYY better and now I continue my quest of becoming Chicago's next hip-hop rising star. The concept of the album is all about that life journey and how it can really motivate people going through a similar situation to persevere it. This song is an overview on the plot of what happened in the most mortifying era of my troubled life on the rough streets of Elgin. Despite my profanity, I hope it'll inspire y'all!
